Khandela

Welcome to Khandela

Jai Hind. Jai Bharat.

Some places hold history. Others hold faith. Khandela Dham holds both.

Khandela sits in Sikar district, Rajasthan. The town carries deep cultural and religious value. It also stands as the origin place of the Khandelwal Vaishya community.

Today, the Khandelwal community lives across India. Many families live far from Khandela. The need to stay connected to roots led to a shared effort. That effort shaped Khandela Dham.

Location and access

Khandela Dham lies 5KM from Khandela town. The site stands on the Palsana Road. Jaipur sits around 97KM kilometers away.

You reach the dham through two main routes. One route goes via Ringas and Shri Madhopur also Khatu shyam mandir 35KM from Khandela dham. The second route passes through Ringas and Palsana. Roads stay well connected throughout the year.

Purpose of Khandela Dham

The dham serves as a pilgrimage center for the Khandelwal Vaishya community. Elders believe a visit here completes all major pilgrimages. Many families plan visits during festivals and family events.

The trust promotes regular darshan for community members. The site also welcomes visitors from other regions.

Khandela dham Land

Khandela Dham spreads across nearly fifty two bighas of land. Tall trees near the main gate shape a calm entry view. The setting feels peaceful and well planned.

The moment you enter, a grand temple of Lord Ganesha appears ahead. The temple was built in two thousand four. The idol and wall designs draw instant attention.

Major temples and idols

Near the Ganesha temple stands a massive idol of Kailashpati Balaji. The idol weighs around twenty five tons. It was carved from a natural stone form. Many visitors feel a strong spiritual presence here.

A Shiva temple stands nearby. The full structure uses marble stone. The design follows a traditional style and feels solid and dignified.

Facilities for visitors

The dham provides a guest house for travelers. Rooms include basic comfort needs. The space suits families, elders, and group visitors.

A large garden sits next to the guest house. The garden covers around one lakh square feet. Green lawns and walking paths support long stays.

Kuldevi temples

Above the garden area stand temples of Kuldevis. The site covers seventy two gotras and thirty seven kuldevis. Each temple holds a dedicated idol.

Daily worship and aarti take place every morning and evening. Pink stone work surrounds the temples. The design brings unity and visual balance.

Inside the Shanti Mandir, granite flooring is planned. Door panels will feature German silver work. These updates focus on long term care and beauty.

Other religious sites

A Kal Bhairav temple stands within the complex. Two curved rows of temples form a striking view. The structure uses pink stone throughout.

Plans also include a temple based on the Mumbai Mahalakshmi temple. Four Dham temples will also rise soon.

Cultural and social contribution

On one side of the garden stands a statue of Sant Sundardas Ji. He was a major saint, thinker, and social reformer. Many scholars compare his work with Surdas and Tulsidas.

The site also supports social welfare. An old age and disabled care center works nearby.

Future development plans

The trust has planned many additions. These include an open air theater. A multi purpose hall is also planned.

A meditation center will support quiet practice. A library and museum will preserve history. A boarding school and hospital sit in future plans.

Other proposals include a computer center. Nursing and medical colleges are also part of the vision.

The Khandelwal Vaishya Tirth Sthan Trust was registered in two thousand one. The trust manages all activities and upkeep.

The trust also publishes a magazine. The magazine shares updates and progress reports with the community.
