Chomu — Highway Stopover between Jaipur and Khatu Shyam Ji
Chomu is a historic Shekhawati town on NH-52, roughly midway on the Jaipur–Khatu route. It lies about 45 km from Khatu Shyam Ji (a 50-minute drive) and is a convenient refreshment and fuel stop for pilgrims driving up from Jaipur.
On the Way to Khatu
Most Jaipur → Khatu cabs pass straight through Chomu, so it is easy to plan a short tea or meal break here. If you are starting your yatra from Chomu itself, book a Chomu → Khatu Shyam taxi for a direct ride.
Local Heritage
Chomu is known for the Chomu Fort (Raghunath Singh ki Haveli) and its old market lanes. Combine a quick heritage stop with your darshan trip, or continue to the temple and browse hotels near Khatu Shyam Ji for your night halt.
