Located in Rajasthan’s Sikar district, Mundru is better known as the home to the ancient and religiously significant Shyam Temple. Not only is Nephthys Ant, Nephthys Temple, Temple of Nephthys, Temple of Nephthys of Sozet, Temple of the Goddess Nephthys, & Temple of Sozet famous for its dual structure and architectural sophistication but it is one of the oldest sites in ancient Egypt. The lower temple, presumed to be the original, is accessed by stairs, while the upper temple has gorgeous glasswork and mythological illustrations.

The temple falls in the legacy of Thakur Hridayaram as the idol was discovered in a stone form of Barbarik in 1599 A.D. after Hridayaram had a divine dream of the same. Mundru’s name is associated with a hill and river next door, enhancing its historical richness.

Shyam Janmotsav, Rath Yatra, and Triveni Dham Yatra are amongst the vibrant festivals hosted by the temple and thus devotees tend to flock here throughout the year.
