Sikar — The District Hub Closest to Khatu Shyam Ji
Sikar is the district headquarters under which the Khatu Shyam Ji temple falls, and one of the largest towns in the Shekhawati region. The temple is about 45 km from Sikar city (roughly 1 hour) via Danta Ramgarh, or a shorter ~30 km via the Palsana route. Its size means dependable trains, buses, taxis and medical facilities for yatris.
How to Reach Khatu Shyam Ji from Sikar
- Taxi: The quickest and most flexible option — book a Sikar → Khatu Shyam cab and reach in about an hour.
- Train: Sikar Junction connects to Jaipur, Churu, Rewari and Delhi; you can also alight at Ringas and cab it the last 17 km.
- Bus: Frequent RSRTC and private buses run from Sikar Bus Stand towards Reengus and Khatu.
A Convenient Base
